Laboratory Profile
The Laboratory for the Diversification and Digitalization of the Algerian Economy was established in 2020 and consists of five research teams. It is located on the ground floor of the Laboratories Building at the Souidani Boudjemaa Campus, University of 8 May 1945 - Guelma.
The Laboratory aims to:
- Promote scientific research within the faculty by organizing international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, and training days.
- Create a scientific environment for Master’s students to assist them in preparing their graduation theses and support their applied field research by connecting them with the laboratory's institutional partners.
- House and support research projects conducted by faculty members.
- Contribute to the national efforts toward transitioning to a digital economy.
- Strengthen and consolidate the relationship between the university and its external environment.
The Laboratory has developed its activities in the following research areas:
- The Digital Economy as a necessity to keep pace with the global economy.
- Developing human capital to support the success of entrepreneurial projects within the framework of economic diversification policies.
- The challenges of formulating marketing strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Algerian products.
- Developmental and financing alternatives for the Algerian economy.
